About us.

Welcome to the UT Dallas AED chapter!

We are a pre-health honor society that caters to all students pursuing careers in healthcare (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, etc.). Our mission is to serve as a pre-health guidance resource and create a tight-knit community of students with similar goals. By inviting speakers such as admission directors, DFW’s leading doctors, and successful alumni, we help educate members about the challenges of healthcare today and what it takes to get the careers our members want. Through events, including personal statement workshops, résumé workshops, and suture clinics, we help prepare students for their futures. As students wishing to dedicate our lives to serving the community, we also place a high value on service. Members often help at health fairs, nursing homes, medical clinics, fundraisers, and much, much more.

We strive to help our members—and together, we have fun doing it.
